Regardless of whose got control rights over the sale of the individual songs, this is a dated & ridiculous practice. SELL THE INDIVIDUAL SONGS! If whomever is THAT greedy then charge double for the individual ‘most popular’ songs. They either don’t realize that they’re LOSING those sales or blatantly just don’t care.(similar situation with at least two other soundtrack albums)

I have this soundtrack on CD and have downloaded it into my individual library. iTunes used to ask me if I wanted to share music that I download, but doesn't give me that option anymore. I have music that a lot of people are looking for. If I download the music and share it with iTunes, why can't iTunes make the individual songs available for purchase? Come on iTunes - listen to your customers! Make the individual songs available for purchase!

I hope this album sells zero. Greedy copyright holders exploiting an inspirational song for personal greed. You can't honestly say THIS was a smash soundtrack? It wasn't even close nor justify the cost of the album.
