New favorite Xmas song

Written by an Australian comedian - utterly sincere.
For many people I know - a largely secular bunch - I think this song hits closer to the "true meaning" of Christmas than any of the other pop-culture Christmas specials that abound this time of year.

I'm not religious, never have been, but I love the hope, peace and joy surrounding Christmas. It's a beautiful holiday has roots in many traditions, and this song reveals the heart of the holidays: family. Beautiful song.

I don't know how Tim does it. His music is sweet, funny and subversive.
White Wine in the Sun is my new favorite Christmas song. It makes me laugh and cry every time I hear it.

This song is amazing, Tim Minchin is an extremely talented pianist, a brilliant comedian and songwriter, and a talented vocalist. He's also an all around intelligent person, a fact I really respect. I bought this song primarily to give 49.5 cents to Autism and 49.5 cents to Tim, they both deserve it.

Until about three days ago I had never heard of Tim Minchin.
Now, not only do I love this song, I'm pretty sure I'd like to have his sexy Australian babies and I don't even have the bits to make the damn things.
Keep up the good work and I'll be sure to keep buying.
Awesome!!!

The words in this song are very inspiring. A personal christmas experience for Tim and that rings true for so many Americans.

The reason...

Tim knows that families and friends coming together to give each other their love and support during the darkest time of the year (winter solstice) is the "reason for the season". The arrangement is a lovely complement to his message.
Absolutely amazing

Heard this song for the first time today and I was floored. It's nice to know I'm not the only atheist out there who loves Christmas :)
