I love the song "The Last Day On Earth". I definitely recommend this album, because Kate is amazing.

I love this album, I first heard Last Day on Earth on an amazing TV show called Dance Academy, Abigail danced to this and I thought it was absolutely stunning! I checked out the album and the whole thing was good I would totally recommend this album and Dance Academy!!!

One of those rare artists that hits every song out of the park. Clever lyrics, lots of music change-ups. No two songs are alike. I saw her opening for Ben Folds at the Hershey theater...simply amazing. Hope she makes it big, if it relies on talent she certainly will. I recommend this album and artist highly.

"The Last Day On Earth" is one of the most beautiful ballads I've ever heard.

So I just heard the last day on earth song on degrassi, and I instantly fell in love. It is such an amazing song. 

Kate Miller-Heidke is well known in her native Australia, but the U.S. as whole is missing an amazing talent, but hopefully not for long. She and her husband and co-songwriter, Keir Nutall, wrote the winning song for the 2008 International Songwriters Contest (based in Nashville TN - the first win for their country!) This is a dense album that is all killer and no filler. I was introduced to her when she opened for Ben Folds earlier this year, and I can see why he picked her to open up his show. Kate's songs are as diverse as can be! Funny, touching, operatic, rock, punk and pop can all be adjectives used when describing the 14 great tracks on Curiouser! They have worked with Flight of the Conchords, and that shows in "Politics In Space" a wonderful song about her sadness that she missed the 1960's. Hilarious. And on the serious side, is the contest winner, "Caught In the Crowd" an amazing statement about bullying and just being "NICE to your fellow human being, that was studied in many of the Australian High Schools, where they held a video making contest for that song. Most importantly, her voice, classically trained, is simply amazing. She could show off her amazing talents, but holds back just enough to prove that her artistry is the most important thing to her. I just saw the two of them "Live" in SF, and I can recommend her to anyone who likes music, period. My parents like her, my co-workers love her, and my little neice loves the tuneful "Last Day on Earth." DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ABLBUM - and of course, the campy "Facebook Song" is the icing on the cake. Funniest song I have ever heard. BRAVO!!!

Saw her open for Ben Folds at the Fonda and was completely blown away. Great great artist. Download regardless of your taste.

Saw Kate opening for Ben folds, all I can say is....... Just amazing. I did not expect such a treat. Talking about range, she can high as well as lows. Her songs are witty and catchy If you can, try and catch her live, especially her acoustic set!
