  • 2nd solo album

Following in the wake of his superb first album "All American Boy", this uneven second offering is generally seen as a disappointment. The unnecessary re- treads of "Hang on Sloopy" & "Still alive and well" seem ill advised and the rest of the material is fairly weak as well. The strongest numbers are "Tomorrow", "Roll with me" & "Don't ever say goodbye" ( by the way I-tunes, where is the great album "Guitars and Women"). Cherry pick these 3 songs and (in my opinion) avoid the rest. Now...about that album cover....

This album absolutely sucked. I remember buying it when I was 15 & what a let down it was. I even hated the glam cover artwork. I love Rick, but after his Edgar, Johnny Winter days, he just couldn't get it together. He is still one of my idols, but don't waste your cash on this one.
