  • A solid, but incomplete collection

Jo Dee Messina is an amzing artist and performer that could possilby be much more successful with better management and publicity. This EP is a strong collection of up-tempo songs that are fun to listen to and are well written. However, it feels incomplete because of the division of the EPs. In an album I want 10-20 songs to listen to and these were awfully short in length. The weakest part of the collection were the live acoustic versions of previous songs, and usually the songs chosen to fill this role were not the best suited. However, the new original songs are amazing and they are a must have for anybody who is a Jo Dee Messina fan.

Every song on this EP, in my opinion, is fantastic. "Just Drive" and "One Day Closer" are especially stellar. The live tracks are great as well, but I wish they would have included live acoustic versions of "Bye Bye" and "Heads Carolina, Tails California" instead, since the subject matter of those songs more accurately fit the theme of Drive. All in all, the whole 'Unmistakable' trilogy is worth the long wait for Jo Dee fans.

i think jo dee is one of the best there is. shes producede awsome and inspiring songs and yet she still remains kind of in the shadows. I hope she produces some hits with this and her other new album because she deserves to be at the very top with the rest. Good Luck Jo Dee!

I'm glad Jo Dee's label finally released these final songs. I'm kind of disappointed that there wasn't a physical release on CD, but I'm mainly just happy to finally be hearing some official new stuff. Very good EPs! If you enjoy Jo Dee Messina at all do not hesitate to buy.

Amazing songs, especially "Just Drive." I heard it a couple of years ago when she posted her completed "Unmistakable" album on her website, until Curb shelved it. I hope that her contract is up soon so she can move on to a label that will respect her enough to get her back on the front burner. She deserves it!!!! Go ahead and give Curb a few dollars and download this one. You will get chills when you listen to the acoustic version of "I'm alright." It truly showcases her voice in a way that is raw and sexy.

Can someone tell me why "Just Drive" was not released as a single? That is my favorite tune on this trilogy. It reminds me of some of my other JoDee favorites. In any case, I'm glad I can finally purchase the song that I've been waiting for. I heard her sing it at one of her shows last year. Just Fantastic!

The "Unmistakable" series of EPs from Jo Dee Messina features some of her very best work. The first EP, Love, released in April, contained numerous fantastic songs. "Drive" is no different. However, I noticed some songs seemed to be missing. "I'm Done" and "Shine", which were released as singles over the past couple years, are absent. Those can probably be found floating around on the Internet somewhere. Also, Jo Dee Messina herself has stated that she recorded 24 songs for "Unmistakable", but there are only 15 news songs across all three EPs. Where are the other 9? Nevertheless, the songs that are here are really quite good. Check out "Real Man" and "One Day Closer". Also, Jo Dee, if you're reading this, you should really consider switching record labels. Curb is treating you like crap. "Unmistakable" should've been released ages ago.
