The only good song is the single, Meantime. Upon listening to this album you realize why this band never moved beyond a one hit wonder.

D3: The Mighty Ducks... "You are not playing like warriors!! You're playing like something else... You're playing like Ducks."

"Cruel To Be Kind" is not a Nick Lowe cover like another reviewer stated. It share the same title but that is all. This is a great album front to back. I played it non stop back in the 90s and I still love it. If you imagine Royston doing an impression of David Bowie and not Axl it helps.

I'm disgusted with this album! "In the Meantime" is the only good song here; I heard it on guitar hero, checked out the album here on itunes and thought it was alright. Turns out the rest of the previews were of the brief, not gross or just plain bad parts of the songs, prime example being "Space is the Place". If you listen to the actual lyrics it sounds like they were high and drunk when they wrote them, like in "Never Coming Down" or "Candy Man". The worst part is that you pay a dollar to listen to a 30 minute track that only has about 45 seconds of music! (To Be a Millionaire... Was It Likely")

A beautiful sound blemished by depraved lyrics.
  • Great Song (in the meantime)

I don't recall ever hearing this song until about 6 months ago on the radio, and it was always bits and pieces. Thankfully I was able to google some of the lyrics and find the title. It wasn't easy, but worth it. This is a great "feel good" song, and definately worth the $0.99, even 15 years later.
