We Will Become Silhouettes - EP

You should feel good because I am an owl city fan but I am starting to like the Postal Service. I came here to see If we could make a truce between owl city and postal service, because they are both super! But I like the little snipets and maybe I might start to buy.

I've been listening to The Postal Service for quite a while now and have been a loyal fan of them. But what is with the bass on "Be Still My Heart"? Talk about wrong notes. Does anyone else hear it?

If you want "New Postal Service" material, the closest you're going to get is "Death cab for cutie", otherwise, you're waisting your money if you purchase these 4 songs that are less than average if you look at the "Give up" CD as a whole...if you added "Be still my heart" to the "Give up" would it have been your favorite song...probably not. It looks like they had a weekend off and threw something together just to throw something together, and resell 3 previously released songs to new beats.

Good by industry standards, but a dismal falling short for the musicians that birthed it. Two words, with just as many syllables : quick buck. How about releasing an actual album? That might sell....

Give Up is obviously a better collection of songs, as this is only a 4 song EP. That said, it is great. This was my first purchase of Postal Service music (although a friend had previously introduced me to the song Such Great Heights) and I was not disappointed. As one might be able to tell from the cover, it is a great EP to listen to while driving or walking through snow. Overall it is a great little addition to any music collection.

The Postal Service's lyrics are reallly deep. This is such a great album!
