    Brahms wrote these works before he turned 20, while still under the influence of Liszt and the "New German School", and before he met Schumann. As performed here, they are full of the youthful passion and energy Brahms must have felt while composing them. Outstanding interpretations, on a beautiful-sounding Bösendorfer piano from Brahms's time.
