I bought this LP back in the mid 70’s. It was my first exposure to Leonard Cohen. I actually think that I made the purchase more for the iconic cover photo than for the music. However, when I listened to the songs, I became mesmerized by the lyrics. I do have to say that Live Songs is probably not for everyone, but I think that it is a great album. I rated it four stars only because the sound quality is not that good on some of the songs. Nevertheless, if you are a Leonard Cohen fan, I think that you will like Live Songs.
