Electronic medieval wizardry

I still don't know how to pronounce their name, but Heimataerde is one of most original and consistently high-quality dark electro bands out there (who else uses an electric flute?). "Gottgleich" is yet another masterpiece of medieval wizardry, and won't disappoint most fans out there. "Wacht Auf" is a highlight because of it's bizarre break-beat percussion, and the electro-infused rendition of "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen" is pure genius. There are a few short bridge tracks which act as filler, but there's enough here to justify calling it a complete album. 4/5 stars.
