A great tribute to J Dilla a couple of bangin joints on here, yes there is a few rehashes but overall the beats and the emcees celebrate the legacy of Dilla bringing that gritty Detroit sound its like reporting live from the streets. I've been a Dilla fan since I first heard donuts back in 06', being relativley new to hip-hop music it was a tragedy when I heard of his passing. Purchase the album why would you wanna bootleg this if your a fan? The procedes support the man, the foundation, and the music so support good music. Dilla 4 Ever

Peace to the cat that gave this album 3 stars, though I severly don't agree, at least you were keeping it real with yourself. RESPECT!! My opinion, however, is that this is a very good album! My favorite track was My Victory, but the hardest song on there was Pitfalls. I do agree that the raps were better than OK, but when has the lyrics ever been over the top on a Dilla album? If you really know Dilla's style, the lyrics compliment the beats very well. One never outshines the other. So you could criticize the lyrics, but you'd have to go back & criticize EVERY Dilla album, including his own lyrics. Anyhow, the album picked up momentum after Esham's song. Definitely worth the money!!

when someone see's Dillas name on a project so they automatically say it's godly and amazing. Dilla is one of the greatest producers ever but this album is ehhh, Dillas beats are all on point but the mixing and mastering is off imo and the rapping is mediocre to average. If Dilla was still alive he wouldn't produce for these rappers. But it's still nice to hear new Dilla
