I saw Jo Dee Messina in concert a few months before this album came out and got to hear her perform a few songs from it. They were great! I was also fortunate enough to meet her before the show, and she is so nice and funny and does not care about what people think. I love all the songs on this CD, but my favorites are: "Not Going Down," "Delicious Surprise," "My Give a Damn's Busted," "It's Too Late to Worry," and "You Were Just Here." If you want to get a sad song, get "You Were Just Here," but if you want a funny song get "It's Too Late to Worry." If you can though, try and buy the whole album. You won't be disappointed!

Jo Dee's music got me through boot camp and I'll be taking her music with me to the Middle East. I find her music thought provoking and inspiring. She has a heavenly voice that eases the pain when I miss my husband and baby. This album is superb. If you are not a Jo Dee fan yet, you will be.

I have been a big fan of Jo Dee's since she started out and this album follows here orginal style of country. A small story about his album goes with why I love it so much...I was going through a hard time and I saw the orginal video for "My Give A Damn Is Busted" and was on the floor laughing by the end of it. I bought the album at release and found the whole album uplifted me in ways I never though music could. This album helped me out during a hard time in my life. You never really think music can help ya out during hard times but this one did. Thanks Jo Dee for the album. Its the best yet for ya.

I'm usually not much of a Country music fan, but Jo Dee Messina's music transcends genre. Her warm, rich, 'I've really been there and experienced what I'm singing about' vocals make nearly every song a winner, and the catchy melodies and infectious lyrics are just a bonus. Sure, some of her songs are a little cheesy, but she makes some of the only music out there that's guaranteed to lift my mood and make me smile. It's fun, engaging and even a little inspiring. If you're looking for some audio Prozac, I urge you to give Delcious Surpise and her other albums a try whether or not you consider yourself a country fan!
