Bad Omens and Bring Me To The Horizon and other peeps are not heavy metal, they are alternative. So kids, listen to some of the best metal. (I’m pretty sure Black Sabbath is also Doom Metal right?)

I bought this when I was a senior in high school (1970-1971) and loved it. I wrote a paper for an english assignment on the premise that the song Black Sabbath was about professional football, played every week on sabbath day. I read the paper in class while playing the song and made line by line comparisons. Got an “A,” of course.

Although I think this album is slightly overrated, this is a legendary album. I personally don’t like Wicked World, but if the Itunes version had Evil Woman (ik the Euro version does) I’d give it 5 stars. Still amazing nonetheless.

For any one confused out there this is the American version that came out. Evil Woman is on the European version.

I listened to this whole thing front to back, and it was awesome. A horror movie was playing in my head as I listened to “Black Sabbath” and “The Wizard”. Deserves more recognition than Paranoid, since it is more roomier and louder.
  • Sabbath. End of debate.

There's rock. There's hard rock. There's metal. Somewhere, beyond all that, is Sabbath. This one started it all, and nobody else even comes close. Do yourself the favor of listening to this from start to finish - with some killer headphones.
