Dan was a one of kind talent, but not just a talent of one kind. He sang, wrote and produced, not only for himself, but for other artists. This is a wonderful album, as Dan claims his place among the best of blue eyed soul. Representing one of the best examples of quality disco, Relight My Fire exuberantly proclaims Dan’s love of life, love and music. Vertigo/Relight My Fire is simply a dance floor classic. Although Dan experienced success, his actual output was far less than it should have been. An early death claimed a gifted artist, who I can’t help but believe had so much more to give to this world. He should and will be remembered.

I have been waiting so long for itunes to get this. Vertigo/Relight My Fire was one of the greatest dance songs in 1979. Thanks. This is the version everybody was waiting for.
