This is what i call real true country music. In the past 3 years i have heard nothing but bro country on the local radio which is nothing but a joke. Jamey Johnson in my point of view does not get the recognition he deserves. Im a big time Waylon fan and that single is recommended to all fans of Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, and all the other classic country fans. Jamey Johnson YOU WOULD HAVE MADE HANK WILLIAMS AND WAYLON JENNINGS PROUD!!!!!

That I don't hear JJ's music on country radio (FM, XM, whatever . . .) is freaking criminal. Seriously, this guy is THE BEST song writer / singer in country music - period. It's not even close. I'm sure Luke Bryan and Cole Swindell are nice guys and all - and my 20 year daughter thinks Cole is cute - but if I have the hear "Country Girl Shake It For Me" one more time, I'm gonna throw up. Jamey Johnson is REAL, not manufactured or created in the Nashville machine (dirt road, cane pole, truck bed, catfish dinner . . . Gimme a freakin' break). BUY HIS MUSIC. All of it. Every song. You will not be sorry, in fact you will thank me for the advice and you will be moved by Jamey's words, passion and talent.

This is the only guy working this vein of music that means anything. (other than a quick buck and a big hat) He makes the rest look like the simple minded BS they are. Jamey is the real deal, start to finish, heart and soul. The only "Country" guy that matters.
