Marks of Genius: 100 Extraordinary Drawings is an exhibition that includes drawings, watercolors, gouaches, and pastels dating from the Middle Ages to the present day at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. The show runs from July 13th, 2014 - September 21st, 2014. An interactive Drawing Studio, adjacent to the exhibition, will also be open during exhibition hours, free with an exhibition ticket purchase. Compose your own still life from a selection of props, drapery, and lighting. Sketch from plaster casts of classical sculptures. Develop fundamental drawing skills through short tutorial videos. Drawing materials are provided, or feel free to bring your own sketchbook and lead or colored pencils.
