Contact Improvisation for Kids is a communication through non - verbal and body contact. I create conditions for relaxed, free and moving environment with tools such as spontaneous research of singing , touch and simple dance improvisation games. Practice is open for everyone, regardless the movement abilities. Children will get the opportunity to discover and empower their motor skills, improve self-esteem and a sense of trust in themselves and their peers. The aim is to spread interactive and creative listening, connecting, awareness of expectations and limits in relationships and co-living in the presence of the other. SANDRA ĐOREM I finished MA in Cultural Studies, but chose to work, explore and develop in dance, which I understand as interdisciplinary field of artistic, scientific and spiritual practice. I am actively involved as dancer, teacher, organizer, producer, curator, networker and occasionally also a choreographer. In last 5 years, I was leading and coordinating EU project Contemporary Dance Network Slovenia (http://www.sodobniples.si/); co-curating and co-producing first CoFestival https://www.facebook.com/cofestivaldance), ; coordinating Gibanica (http://www.gibanica.eu/) and Pleskavica festival (http://www.ficobalet.org/pleskavica2011.htm) and co-organizing and co-producing 16th festival City of Women/Between Past and Future. (http://www.cityofwomen.org/sl/content/2010). Most recent inquiry are body practices, embodiment of thoughts, contemporary performative practices and nomadism in relation to urban rituals, new age practices and creating urban communities/ tribes. From that idea grew the new type of traveling&exchange dance festival http://www.ficobalet.org/Fico_Dance_Journey.htm I studied Contact Improvisation with masters in Slovenia and internationally: No Borders Project 2013 (Vangelis Legakis, Irene Sposseti, Johan Nillson); Contact Journey Georgia 2013 (Nevo Ben Khaan, Hugo Leonardo da Silva, Sasha Bezrodnova, ...); Fičo training (Dejan Srhoj, Goran Bogdanovski); Impulstanz (Goran Bogdanovski); Laban (Kathy Crick , Melanie Clarke, Gill Clarke); Plesni klub Jama (Matej Kejžar,Gregor Luštek); Plesni Teater Ljubljana (Matej Kejžar, Magdalena Reiter, Mala Kline, Gregor Luštek, Jurij Konjar). I have been working with children since 2008. On regular basis through Fičo Balet.
