Introduction - Interview Skills Interviews are regarded by many as being the most important step in the application process. This module aims to prepare and equip you with the skills and confidence in tackling the different types and modes of interviews. Learning Outcomes 1. Developing skills for different types interviews at different stages of the application process 2. Understanding what an assessment centre is, what a technical test is & what is expected from the applicant 3. Preparation: researching the company, the interviewer, the role and anticipating questions Includes how to recognize key stakeholders in multiperson interviews 4. Demonstrating appropriate interview etiquette, including attire and follow-up procedures. 5. Presenting your narrative using your USP (AKA Story telling) and incorporating self-descriptors
