This personally gratifying but globally unremarkable flight on March 9th was my first one since August 2014. At the same time, it was my last one with my trusty Atis 2, a glider which obviously is quite flyable still, but is a surplus in my home. I was rather apprehensive because of my unfortunate lack of currency and fitness, but after lift-off, it apparently and fortunately all came back to me - just like riding a bike ;:-) Also due to my long lay-off, I wasn't current in preparing my Panasonic GH2 for this first flight. In other words, I forgot to put my wind noise muffler over the microphones :-( The original video was shot in fullHD, but the 500MB-one uploaded to Vimeo is reduced to 720p and saved at only 4400kbps. As a kind of compromise, I have also put a better (16Mbps)-version on MY GOOGLE DRIVE for download.
