Selections from twelve films and television series that made a great impression on me as a child are processed and reprocessed through a variety of real time analog tools. Where do the stories converge when they loose their individual narratives through layers of wipes, colorization, and analog noise? How do glimpses of iconic characters such as Flash Gordon and Dorothy transcend their worlds as we know them, while Midnight Special and Soul Train tap into other worlds through rhythm and dance? While not having lived them, these are my memories drifting through shapes created by a horizontal scan and a vertical sync and reconfigured through a symmetrical composition.
