My grandmother Martha Mae Kindred was such an inspiring person. Not only was she an activist in her community, but she was also a scholar. She LOVED to love and her most famous line to say was "you just don't love me, like I love you." Her legacy will forever live on through many generations of the Kindred Family and I am so blessed to have spent all the time that I did with her. She has touched so many lives including Barack Obama whom she worked with in Altgeld Gardens in Chicago, Illinois. She was the BEST great grandmother a girl could ever ask for!
