Ruth Storm (1888-1981) was a lesbian New York City schoolteacher who filmed her friends & favorite spots with a 16 mm Cine Kodak. Her 18 reel collection is a part of the Lesbian Home Movie Project (LHMP) archives. Her footage spans the years 1938-1964. This clip depicts Chenoweth "Chennie" Hall (the short one) & Ruth Storm herself (the very tall one) on an early visit to Corea, Maine. "Chennie" became of the life partner of writer Miriam Colwell & spent most of the rest of her adulthood in Corea. Ruth continued to visit & a cabin built on the rocks where she ultimately retired with her last lover Almeda "Meda" Benoit.
