The remembrance that occurs through the process of reviewing the photographic image of the self is regarded as irrefutable. However, the photographic image can never bring us back the past self, it rather destroys it, manipulating our idea of the past. Coming back home depicts on the one side the act of searching for a past self trapped in the image (videos), and, on the other side, the patent impossibility of reaching the real self of the past through photography (pictures).
