ACTION MAPS THE BARDO HD video, 02:27 2015 A gritty action-ballet of enigmatic labor I enacted with a ball in my Yale MFA studio-come-corporate bardo before I tore it all apart. (I made this video the weekend I had to destroy this studio - the home of my varied of professional-totems, art-tools, drawings, fetish sculptures, and body-prop-surrogates. I was sad to say goodbye to the space. And I wasn't sure how to document its weird magical mundane quality or fricative energy. So I turned to movement and kicked around a ball as a methodology to map the space and in turn move the eye of the camera around the room.
