Like grandma always said — never wear your curlers to the laundromat, you never know who you're gonna meet! My parents met at a laundromat and I've always been enamored with their retro-chic decor. I filmed this documentary in 2008 over the course of a few months at laundromats in the L.A. area, mostly in Santa Monica. (Please excuse the atrocious audio!)
