On Sunday, September 20th, 2015 there was an 18 Mile Marathon Tune-Up run in Central Park that I participated in. With the TCS NYC Marathon in just 6 weeks, this long run is a good way to see if runners are on track to hit their goals. But enough about running... Viewing NYC is not a runners' blog, but rather a site to see cool and interesting parts of New York City. Running around the exterior Central Park loop is a great way to see all parts of it, so I strapped a camera to my chest as I ran the 3 laps so that you could see it too. I ran with a chest-mounted GoPro Hero 4 Session, a tiny lightweight, and waterproof 4k camera that perfect for this kind of thing. The race took me 2 hours and 25 minutes to run, but this video shows it all with a time lapse that is just 5 minutes. The music in the video is deadmau5 & Wolfgang Gartner — "Channel 42" Marathon Tune-Up: http://www.nyrr.org/races-and-events/2015/tcs-new-york-city-marathon-tune-up-18m TCS NYC Marathon: http://www.tcsnycmarathon.org Central Park: http://www.centralparknyc.org GoPro Hero 4 Session: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B011FPHXYY/?tag=viewingnyc-20 Channel 42 (iTunes): https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/channel-42/id561758043?i=561758046&ls=1&at=11l7j9&ct=viewingnyc&app=itunes
