This audio slide show is just a short excerpt from a longer oral history recorded in conjunction with the Stone Barns Center Apprentice Oral History Project. The Apprentice Oral History Project was designed to document the voices and stories of the Center's four-season farm apprentices and to make a record of the work that the Center is pursuing through its Growing Farmers Initiative. The project was developed in the summer of 2010 by Erin Boyle, a graduate student in Brown University's master's program in Public Humanities.
