A one-minute animated realisation of Marian Jenning's original poem 'Meditations of a Lighthouse.' Produced during 2015/2016 using a combination of computer generated imagery and hand-drawn custom clip art, the one minute film reflects on a very busy 24-hours coping with storms, Jaws, a panicking airliner, Sputnik, Titanic and a host of other imaginations. A total of around 400 hours work; the film was rendered frame by frame. The film has received a number of accolades, including overall winner of the 2016 WRCG 10-minute film competition and part of 'Best Programme' in the 2016 South Yorkshire Competition, and most recently 5-Stars, 'Best Animation' and 'Best 60-Second Movie' at BIAFF 2017, the UK premier non-commercial film festival. Note: This is the 'extended credit' version and it is identical to all other versions apart from the end credit page which runs for a few seconds longer to make it comfortably readable. As a result the run time slightly exceeds 60 seconds so *this* version would not be eligible for one-minute competitions. There is a '60-second' competition version available upon request from competition managers.
