Jeremiah 20:11 But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. We can desire to fight a battle that is in front of us. Someone has wronged us, attacked us, spoken poorly of us, and not meant us well. We want to respond to the ill treatment, thinking we can have some impact, not remembering that God is with us like a mighty warrior. He will fight our battles for us, in His time and in His way. We need to put down our weapons, quiet our mouths, open the Word of God and get on our knees to seek Him about the battle that is in front of us. That is how a battle is fought and won.
