Hallelujah Uncoverd

i am trying to record in a studio, the problem is that the studio uses pirated software and i do now want to go that road, so i have talked the dispassionate studio staffers into using Audacity, i am learning to figure out how to use it in a multi channel situation. Lost 2 hours of singing my heart out because the chap at the controls did not save, the file. I kept my digi cam running and I mixed it with the audio from my music track. I would be grateful for any help and support around how to use Audacity or any other opensource DAW in a multi channel environment. I want to be able to record my acoustic guitar and vocals in separate channels. This song grew on me from Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah ~ I’m familiar with some clichéd chords That Psalmists pick to charm the Gods And originality is not their cup of tea The fancy riffs the rise and fall The all knowing has heard it all It’s not rocket science to compose Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Your faith was painted like a spoof From your high and mighty palace roof Where one day your sons will take your concubines You took her in and made her yours And then you got rid of her spouse You woke up to an aching Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Well Baby I am not a God You know that I am but a bard I serenade in public and dance naked I've waved the flag and I have lied At last I’ve broken down and cried In strains of bruised and bleeding Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Once upon a time in eternity The air was clean and the stars were free To sing about the beauty of their making The brooding spirit has arrived To blow his prostituted bride Merciful but not fooled by her lip service Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah The blame is taken down in vain Crucifixion won’t entertain But if it did, it speaks volumes about you Bow your knee and complain Spit your fiery tongues in vain In holy and in stolen Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I failed the test wanting a crutch I couldn't trust, so I had to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to screw you And though I lose my way back home I'll find it with a fine toothed comb With nothing on my map but Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah There’s only so much I can sing These lines are all I have to bring For anything read in between I blame you Lover when you take the stance Love is not a game of chance It’s a dance where we both hear different music Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah For those who think they know the facts Pertaining to these glorious acts Shooting from the critics point of view Bite your tongue and kick the cat Face your flaws in mortal combat The demons of your self are out fuck you Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Have we made love a fantasy Before you fled from reality I cherished your every shade of integrity The spectrums bleed into white Haunting us with dreams of light In taunting and redeeming Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Is any of this too explicit Does it hurt or sound counterfeit I swear; i did not try to ruin it I learnt to sing in the valley of loss Marry the church in the courts of divorce Convicting choir’n jury with Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Eye to eye and cheek to cheek Reflecting each other so to speak Together we make a freak clique We’re opposites but that's alright If love is strengthened in the fight Nights break open in moans of Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah In agony and theology Liturgic philematology I practiced the apology i owe no one Cheerfulness comes breaking forth In breathless orgasmic pains of birth Wrapped in cries and sighs of Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Fine wine and a sound mind Soul and spirit intertwined I've never seen how love could be so blind Delusions of destructive kindness Burst asunder far behind us In mushrooms of smoking Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Slight of hand and a twisted arm Wasted dreams and a plastered charm We were throwing up at the gates of hell If we make it past the eleventh hour Would Jesus, captain of the bar Serve us through happy hours forever Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah The Holy Spirit is on the house Fires many streams wont drouse Unless it is from within don't let her rouse She must sleep off her poison Wake up to a new horizon And a vision of sincere devotion Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I've worn my scars to the bone My tragadies are overblown I've reaped every blessing i have known I've sown the salt of life and choice I've watched the mountiains all rejoice And celebrate their roots in Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I'd like to think i had no choice Born with the gift of a tortured voice And an appitite for vice though i'm a novice I'd love to put my thoughts on ice Salute the personal edifice It all comes down to simple Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah What does it mean to be adult To bear wittness of one’s own fault My template is childish by default I cut my teeth with every insult Exult in poetic result Forgiveness can be vengeful Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah My heart is bare like a vacant throne Deserted in the dawn of doom No wonder I am so prone to gloom The census was my thorny crown My measured might brought me down Now weakness is the business of Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Murder can be kinder Than watching the master steal your lover You got me in my zeal for office Amends within the bounds of reason Portends to justify treason When Hallelujah is way out of question Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Deafened by your dead silence I crave the ghost of eloquence Rising up from forbidden science The oldest roads lead to her door Nothing's changed the sorrow in store Lying and bamboozling Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah A mirror is the poet’s best friend If God ran out of angels to send I see my self in you so selfishly My vanity looks good to me My fetters gleam like jewelry You see through me despite the debris Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah It’s hard to not be inspired When the brain is wrecked and the heart is fired I should have retired long before I started You know I lack the common sense To gauge the limits off the fence An immigrant in illegal Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I strived with angels overnight Battled demons in their own right I've stolen my own brother's birthright I beat the system of employment With dreams to crack the wage arangement Limping to the tune of Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Everyone has spoken well Of souls that now burn in hell The living are available to buy and sell I try to not piss on the market With all of my eggs in one basket To be honest I don't think I can fake it Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah It's wrong to pitch a song this long Not trying to please anyone I've pledged my allegiance to my art For it's own sake I have to part With many a pleasure of the heart Casting all my pearls to Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I don’t believe in static balance Like I disbelieve ecstatic parlance Your truth claims are quite your own design You could say the same of mine Everyone has their stance to divine My decided hobbling stride is Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I've walked the second mile a lot With both my feet in my mouth I slept through many a haircut of regret My soul's set to a grinding stone My verve is not yet overthrown I'm not immune to oppertune Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Sometimes I've felt i did belong Those moments did not last very long I've captured a few of them in song I set them free in my memory In celebratory esprit Boyant with the weight of Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Low down in the tower of dirge Inhaling wiffs of sulphor surge I fear the enterprise would submerge I can't deny this desperate urge To peal my heart for what might emerge I pay my rent in uncountable Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Let's trade places for a moment You can play house in my basement And i can be spectator of my story I'd know all the gory details Of your sanctuary and bed of nails And you's probably appreciate my poetry Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Cahoots the unthinkable A friend-ship so unsinkable Like the live gig on the Titanic Manic panic sonic oceanic Frantic music made me theo-sick We got hit by the tip of Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Shallowness no deeper than a splash Blinded by your luminous flash I'd love to hang on but i must dash Thank you if you heard me out I know not what i sing about Except it's some kind of Hallelujah Hallelujah,.. ad infinitum!
