When watching 'Fight Club' for the first time (of many!), I noticed a similarity between a piece of score from this film and one in John Carpenter's urban western 'Assault on Precinct 13' (1976). I decided to put them side-by-side and yes: they do sound a bit alike, even if it is just the same sounding instrumentation (Fender Rhodes?). Hear for yourself.
