Andosphere presents guest mix 004 by ANSIS ZVIRGZDINS Biography: Ever since he was a kid, Ansis Zvirgzdins was passionate about electronic music. While everyone else was banging on about guitars, rappers and Britney Spears, Ansis much rather prefered the synthetic sounds, powerfull basslines and energetic rhythms from the likes of The Prodigy, Crystal Method and Aphex Twin. Soon after that he discovered electronic dance music and the art of deejaying, which won him over in a heartbeat. 2008. saw the upcoming of a relatively unknown kid who took everyone by surprise, coming 2nd in the Latvian DJ championship, debuting in the Latvian DJ Top 30 and even catching the attention of legendary Pete Tong, with his first track „Freaky People Freak Me Out”. Ever since then it has been another success story... One by one, Ansis’s productions slowly, but steadily are reaching the ears and the hearts of many EDM fans and well known deejays around the globe and have caught the attention of well established labels in the trance and progressive scene - Fektive Recordings, Infrasonic Recordings and more. While he’s still relatively new to the scene, Ansis is working hard, developing his own distinct style and has no intention of stopping anytime soon.
