#FAIR USE# "2016 Flat Earth" - Is the Geographic South Pole real - or are we being deceived? I watched both parts of the TV documentary - that shows Prince Harry taking three teams of "Wounded Warriors" in Nov/Dec 2013 - in a 13 day race to the South Pole. I ask some questions & YOU can decide if something fishy is going on here. However, it could be a case of me not having all the facts about their journey. It was an epic 130-mile trek to the South Pole - three teams - each with "wounded warriors" - all war veteran heroes who all sustained severe injuries (one man is a double leg amputee). How in the world did they fly 3,700 miles from South Africa to Antarctica in a Russian twin engine prop plane? The narrator says the flight took just 6 hours??? This can't be possible. They must have flown from South Africa to another point (and from THERE it took 6 hours). If you look at all the little details... they begin to paint a picture (in my mind) - that this trek to the South Pole just doesn't add up. How do you spend 18 days in -50F temps - with no bathrooms, no showers, etc.? They claim the iPods didn't work due to the cold - but the cameras didn't seem to have any problems??? They claim it took 13 days of trekking 9 hours each day... with a 10 minute break every two hours - and at a steady pace of "3.3" km per hour (2mph). The math just doesn't add up IMHO. Plus, when they finally arrive at the Amundsen-Scott Research Station (at 90 degrees South) - we don't see anyone from the station coming out to meet the expedition??? You'd think every single person inside the research station would want to go out and greet PRINCE HARRY and the rest of the teams!!! I don't get it... For all we know, this "research station" could be somewhere in remote Greenland. Nobody shows a compass or GPS unit... Sorry, not buying it...
