Led by the Paris Observatory, the EuroVenus consortium brings together many of the leading planetary science institutes from across Europe. It includes experts in Venus Express instrumentation, in ground based telescope observation of planets, as well as experts in atmospheric dynamics and chemistry. In this episode, Paolo Tanga from the Nice Observatory is explaining how he used the last Transit of Venus of the 21st century (2012) for making new discoveries about this mysterious planet.
