January 14th 2017, Phil's "Lady Face" was one of a dozen movies screened at the annual "I was Teenage High School Dropout Film Fest" in Ojai, California. "Lady Face" is an animated Mother's Day motion picture card that uses collage and compositing with camera dollys to form Kinetic Cubism as inspired by the Dada, Cubist, Surrealist and Colorfield artists of the 20th century. INGREDIENTS: Cheap sunglasses, bows, kinetic spinners, red foiled paper, styrofoam female adult head, blue rhinestones, Elmer's glitter glue, cling wrap, masks, 3D letters, rotating LED projection lamps, acrylic rods, one red Chinese lantern, 12" x 4" diameter glass cylinder, mylar and 40 lbs. test fishing line as found objects or "readymades" from my local stores including CVS Pharmacy, Dollar Tree, Jo-Ann Fabrics, TAP Plastics, and Joe's Rod & Fly Shop.
