At this year's Intergastra Fair in Stuttgart, hotelbird and Häfele first presented a new digital standard for hotels: the check-in, door opening, payment and check-out via smartphone. Based on BLE-technology (Bluetooth Low Energy), the hotelbird-app is compatible to the Dialock locking system. The fair visitors were enthused. On site, a short image film was produced that has now been published. It shows how hotel guests can open the door quickly and easily with their own smartphone and how to use the hotelbird-app. Juan A.
