A music video for (a portion) of Interpol's Pioneer to the Falls. I interpret the song to be about death, so I created the motif of a bird (a crow/raven, a "death" bird) flying through this landscape infecting everything it touches with darkness. This all consuming darkness is representative of despair and grief. Created using traditional and digital cel animation, video footage, and intensive editing in After Effects. Song mixed via MixCraft 5.
