I visited the Senso-ji temple area in Tokyo and this is a short film of the visit, part of a longer project. The temple was built in the 7th century for the worship of Bodhisattva Kannon. It was also designated a sacred site of prayer for the shogunate by shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543-1616). Filmed on Canon 5D Mark II with 24-105 f4 IS, 16-35 f2.8 and 70-200 f4 IS, most of the shots from a tripod with Manfrotto 503HDV head, a few by hand, all with my Zacuto Z-Finder Pro 2.5x. Time lapses done with a Yongnuo Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3a. Edited in Adobe Premiere CS5, color graded with Magic Bullet. Time lapses created with Quicktime 7 Pro.
