Pfc. Rueben "Boy" Lopez, a young Army soldier from rural Northern California, left a strong impression on his fellow soldiers while serving with the 10th Mountain Division in one of Afghanistan's most violent districts. This short film, a preview for a full-length documentary entitled "Our Boy in Kandahar," offers a brief glimpse into the realities faced by Lopez and his fellow soldiers, both at war and at home.
