"Everflow" 2016, 2:33, black and white double 8mm on 16mm projector, no sound. An incessant parade of vehicles flow north and south on Highway 11 past man-made cuts in Canadian Shield rock. At the same time, the Muskoka River and its lakes and tributaries flow on (at least until freeze-up!). Shot on a Kodak Brownie and hand-processed, I used the double 8mm format to show water flowing over rock together with blurred vehicles zooming past rock and over asphalt, sometimes seen from overpasses where vehicles flow underfoot and bridges where the two streams of our story cross.
