This piece was a collaborative effort between myself, a composition student at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a choreography student at Case Western Reserve University. After receiving the music, I worked with the dancer to come up with a single gesture that emulated the feeling of the music. That single gesture was manipulated into the full animation. The final performance involved the video being projected across three panels arranged in a way that would distort the animation, yet allow the dancer to interact with it.
