Was requested by Shuana (www.dha-shuana.blogspot.com) to cover her Bio-essence video promotion. The filming was arranged pretty last minute, there was no script and the deadline was the next day so we had to sit Shuana down to get more details out of her about the products as we had no clue about them. We chose the bathroom scene instead of a nice dressing table because we felt it will be more real and can be related to more people who are using or wanting to use BB Cream. As this was Shuana's first attempt on a set, she was considerably nervous with our camera and lights pointing at her from all directions in a very tight space but we felt she did very well in the end and managed to portray that bubbly personality of hers after we made her more relaxed. Poor Shuana had to apply and wash away the cream for countless of times for us to shoot in different angles and feel that we want to achieve... she did it without any complaints so thumbs up to her :) Conceptualizing the idea and how the video should feel started at about 6PM+, began filming at 7PM and ended at 10:30PM. Transfered and converted to .MOV format for FCP ingestion and went for our late dinner at Balestier Bak Kut Teh. All of us headed home, I started the editing at about 1:30AM and output to render at 4AM with color correction all done in FCP. - Maven
