Here’s the backstory: Jane is an overworked mom with an 11-year old son named Josh. When Josh reveals that an imaginary friend named “Rumpy” makes him do bad things, Jane starts to question the sanity of her child just before questioning her own. Jane is severely stressed - fighting with her husband who is always working late. Jane is starting to lose her mind about Josh and his imaginary friend…until she hears something in the house. This scene is about fear of losing one’s mind - what is real?
