"0828 - TETSU SHIRAHASHI THE AVENGERS FÊTE Vol. 03" @ SQUARE GARDEN. Sunday 28, August, 2016. Written by Masao Urino / Ryuichi Sakamoto “Smoochy (1995)” by Ryuichi Sakamoto Bibo no Aozora (1995) is from the album Smoochy (1995) by Ryuichi Sakamoto. I first heard this song as a classical version played by a trio consisting of a piano, cello and violin. There was no singing. The song was later used during the final scene of the movie Babel (2006) directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. It was very impressive. I covered a version of UTAU (2010) by Taeko Oniki and Ryuichi Sakamoto at the concert. When I produced a DVD that merged audio and video in 2006, I studied Sakamoto's score enthusiastically. My work method and genre of music that I listen to have changed significantly from that time; and they’re still changing. Tomoyuki Hirata : Guitars / Arrangements.
