King's Speech bagged four Academy Awards out of 12 nominations. Inception was shunned for Best picture, best director and best script award for Christopher Nolan, but took home four Oscars nevertheless. While two of fighters three nominated actors for supporting roles also won as had been predicted, True Grit, left the Oscars empty handed, regardless of its 10 nominations.
