A baby is to the parents, a miracle of life. The first tooth, the first word spoken or the first steps taken are occasions for celebration and discovery of this little human life. Indeed the baby hijacks the normal routine of a family, taking center stage and demanding attention, either by smiling or bawling or just being its unique self. Slowly this baby develops a mind of its own. It may or may not want to eat what you feed it or even decline to answer you, when you say its name. A personality is forming, which must be dealt with, in a curious, exploring and insightful way. No rules work, when human life is involved, or else there could have been one single formula for everyone. Indeed, our babies come into our lives to make us grow as human beings. We are forced to re-evaluate our lives, and change for the sake of our children. Relationships and intuitive understanding from the heart, works well rather than platitudes and advice.
