Sound installation/Performance (2017) A provoked, yet genuine conversation between two squeaky chairs... Following a year of lots of experimentation into personifying objects by directly giving them a human voice and characteristics, I have recently become more interested in exploring the way these objects are presented and the way they might be communicated. For example here I have included myself in a mini-performance. I am fascinated in the idea of the artist as the director of a piece of art being featured explicitly and being presented to physically engage with objects - and as a result give objects the opportunity to engage with each other with a more authentic voice.
