This is a fanmade video using clips from the BBC's Merlin and the source material doesn't belong to me (audio or visual). I made it for fun and I hope you enjoy it but I'm not benefiting from this whatsoever apart from intellectually. Summary/Thinky-Thoughts: The first two-thirds or so of the video is somewhat from Merlin's perspective and the last bit is from Arthur's. The clips are almost chronological and then the latter half is almost inverse. It's a sort of experiment having to do with the whole book end ~two sides of the same coin~ aspect of Arthur and Merlin's relationship. Basically, I was just really impressed when midnightx10's fanmix applied this song to them. Somehow the context made the song more meaningful, rather than contrived in its application and so I just needed to make a video of it. Also, exam-time stress relief creativity. I suppose this is just meant to be a look at Merlin and Arthur's relationship with one another, both from positive and somewhat negative sides of it. The way in which they know one another like the back of their hands in some ways, but the other ways in which Arthur doesn't know Merlin at all. Merlin's devotion and Arthur's begrudging return of the same. Also, I just multiship like crazy and it seemed somehow appropriate to give a somewhat positive spin on Gwen/Lancelot when I did in the video because of the way in which it related back to Merlin's thoughts on the matter, I think.
