O vídeo, produzido em 2017, a partir de registros com celular no chamado mergulhão da Praça XV (Rio de Janeiro, BR), debaixo do viaduto da Perimetral por volta de 2010/2011, bem antes de ela ser posta abaixo em 2014. As sombras da Perimetral, além de criarem uma espécie de teatro espontâneo, lanterna mágica, remetem a um estado onírico ou fantasmagórico talvez por desenharem simulacros de nós mesmos. Inevitável fazer a relação com o mito das cavernas de Platão. No entanto, ainda que sejam só simulacros, estas sombras, assim como os sonhos nos parecem nos revelar uma delizadeza que a realidade esconde. The video was produced in 2017, based on cellphone footage taken at the so-called underpass in Praça XV (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), under the Perimetral viaduct around 2010/2011, well before it was demolished in 2014. The shadows of the Perimetral, in addition to creating a kind of spontaneous theater, a magic lantern, refer to a dreamlike or ghostly state, perhaps because they draw simulacra of ourselves. It is inevitable to make the connection with Plato's myth of the caves. However, even if they are only simulacra, these shadows, just like dreams, seem to reveal to us a delight that reality hides. She is interested in artistic creation as an exercise of thought, the ability we have to create relationships, narratives and worlds. In 2018, she held the exhibition "Fazer, modo infinitivo" (Doing, Infinitive Mode) at the UFF Arts Center. She has three books of poetry, including O silêncio como circuito da mão (The Silence as the Outline of the Hand) (Selo Orfeo, 2011). She worked as a literary reviewer for O Globo for 10 years. A civil servant in the judiciary, she currently holds the position of Cultural Director of the Federal Justice Cultural Center.
