When a show at the Foggy Goggle in Halifax fell through, the guys from The Wild (myspace.com/#!/thewildmusic) set up a house party/show and bought Jon Creeden and Greg Rekus (myspace.com/#!/557091648) a case of beer in order to convince them to grace us with their musical abilities and showmanship at the party. And lucky for us... because the two guys, who each play their own unique brand of Acoustic Punk Inspired Folk, rocked the house!!! Jon began playing solo in 2006, after moving to Ottawa for school, originally going by the moniker "Guy ON Couch". But finding it weird playing under a pseudonym, he decided to start playing under his real name: Jon Creeden, instead. To date, he has released 5 EP's and 1 Full Length Album. He had pressed 100 copies of his older material onto a single album, but "once they are gone, they are gone" ...I'm not sure if he has any of these left. But his most recent EP's: Good Bye Sandy Hill and his newest 2011 release "The Captain" are available digitally for purchase and download at the bandcamp links (above...if you want an actual CD or T-Shirt, please contact him directly on facebook and he will hook you up!).
